Medical Model Repositories

NIH 3D Model Library
Few scientific 3D-printable models are available online, and the expertise required to generate and validate such models remains a barrier. The NIH 3D Print Exchange eliminates this gap with an open, comprehensive, and interactive website for searching, browsing, downloading, and sharing biomedical 3D print files, modeling tutorials, and educational material.
Embodi3D
Library of 3D printable medical models generated from medical scans. Files are shared by members who have mostly used Democratiz3D online software to generate the model. Some models are free - others charge a download fee.
BodyParts3D/Anatomography
BodyParts3D is a dictionary-type database for anatomy in which anatomical concepts are represented by 3D structure data that specify corresponding segments of a 3D whole-body model for an adult human male. (BodyParts3D Article)
E-Nable
The e-NABLE Community is using their own 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device.
MorphoSource
Primarily Scanned Fossils. MorphoSource is a project-based data archive that allows researchers to store and organize, share, and distribute their own 3d data. Furthermore any registered user can immediately search for and download 3d morphological data sets that have been made accessible through the consent of data authors.
Open Lab-ware
Open-Labware.net is a collaborative spin-off project of TReND in Africa, OpenNeuroscience and the Baden lab. They offer their designs and modifications of Free and Open Source Hardware projects specifically intended to be used in a scientific lab or research setting.
